• Selective systemic herbicide with long-lasting effect, used post-emergence to control broadleaf weeds and some grasses in peanut crops.

• Belongs to the imidazolinone group, inhibiting the biosynthesis of essential amino acids (isoleucine, leucine, and valine), which are vital for protein formation and plant growth.

• Selectivity is due to the rapid degradation of the herbicide inside peanut plants, while it acts quickly on target weeds:

  • Growth stops within 8 hours.

  • Yellowing begins in 1–3 days.

  • Death occurs within 10–20 days after application.

• Highly efficient at low application rates compared to other sedge herbicides, thanks to its systemic action that reaches tubers and rhizomes below the soil.
